Not our normal fare, I’ll grant you, but all the same it meets the criteria and deserves a spot on the blog. Wishbone.. what are we to make of you?

Oh my god! Is that a Fish & Chip shop!

I’m beginning to see why Western Fried Chicken didn’t survive, what with Morley’s and Chicken Cottage (and a KFC for Sundays) on the very same street.

And I was wrong. That’s not a fish & chip shop, it’s just a fish shop. Gotta get your chips from next door.

Schmorley not Morley’s?

Luckily there is still demand in Lewisham, and the Morley’s empire is able to supply. I tip my hat to this familiar site.

Gone but not forgotten…

Oh god. I have no words to describe this. What happened, Western Fried Chicken? Can any one shed light on this? I just don’t understand what could have happened. Supply and demand – is there no longer demand in Lewisham?

I often wondered why Yummy Chicken decided to highlight the Y, Y, C and N. I can’t think of any good reason, other than it’s a lovely design flourish. Yum!
